 The 5th Generation (C5) Corvette was introduced in 1997. The C5 Vette signifigantly raised the bar for Corvette with a vastly improved car in all respects! The heart of this Vette is the 5.7 litre LS1 V8 producing 345 horsepower. This Corvette can reach 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, on up to 150MPH top speed, making it one of the world's fastest sports cars of its era. This Corvette has great handling with it's four wheel independent suspension, and huge brakes to stop quickly as needed. This generation Corvette really delivered the goods to allow this All American sports car to compete with any of the best sports cars from around the world. This generation Corvette also has a usable trunk which will hold luggage or golf clubs! The Corvette is loaded with a full compliment of standard equipment.

Our featured Corvette is in excellent shape. With 65,000 miles (approx 4,600 miles per year) this Vette really is super clean! The exterior light pewter metallic paint still has a new car luster (indicative of a car that was always garaged). The leather (non smoker) interior is in great shape as well. This Corvette is a joy to drive, especially with the top removed, on one's favorite stretch of road. The six speed manual transmission wakes up the cars performance potential and really adds to the driving pleasure!
