​The days of packing a 5.7 liter LT1 V8 into a large comfortable sedan are long gone!

The Impala SS was a police package Impala with the LT1 V8 lifted from the Corvette and Camaro. The suspension and brakes were also lifted from the police package significantly improving braking and handling. The SS was able to reach 60 mph in 7 seconds on through the quarter mile in 15 seconds. Great numbers especially for a full size sedan of the day. 

This Impala has been completely gone through bringing the car to showroom (or better) condition! Including new paint and interior. Even the suede headliner is new. All of the work was performed by high end shops in Los Angeles. The SS has been completely gone through mechanically as well, along with completely rebuilt suspension components including springs, shocks, swaybars, and bushings. The suspension has been redone with all Hotchkis components.The result is a car that is significantly better in all regards!

Also of note is a new ATI flywheel, All new window trim done in satin black, and a Viper Alarm system which can track the cars whereabouts.

The last of the full size rear drive Chevy's. The limited production Impala SS will continue to appreciate. This SS is an amazing full size road car. It was justly called the four door Corvette of it's day!
