The 1972 Mercedes 280 SEL 4.5 sedan, the equivalent of todays S Class, is perhaps the best and most attainable example of Mercedes-Benz's golden age of automobiles. In 1972, this magnificant car was given greatness with the installation of the 4.5 litre V8 engine. Producing 230hp (up from 146hp in the six cylinder versions) and allowing this magnificant sedan to cruise all day long at well over 100mph. 

Our featured sedan is in excellent condition. The paint and chrome are super sharp, and the (non smoker) interior is in great condition as well. The car was just completely gone through by a premier Mercedes mechanic here in Los Angeles, and all operating systems are in good working order. Even the A/C blows cold!

These uber sedans will continue to become very collectable as time goes on and nice ones become more scarce. This car is stunning in every respect.
