2002 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, 19,000 miles, One Owner, California Car, Showroom Perfect!

Maserati returned to the U.S. market with the 2002 introduction of their stunning Spyder Cambiocorsa. With a heritage that dates back to 1926, Maserati was one of the premier Italian sports car makers, including some very collectable sports cars, such as the Maserati Bora, Khamsin and Merak. Ferrari purchased Maserati in 1997. As a result, the Maserati profits heavily from Ferrari's engineering, production, and distribution fronts. The Maserati Spyder was designed as a more streetable version of the Ferrari sports cars. Make no mistake, the Spyder is a serious performance car!  The 4.2 litre V8 develops 390HP for a top speed of over 175 mph. Putting this power to the ground is done through a Formula One inspired Cambiocorsa (Italian for race change) gear box which has steering wheel paddles for lightening fast upshifts or downships.The is also a fully automatic mode which will allow the transmission to automatically shift for itself. This Maserati has an adjustable damping system and close to 50/50 percent  weight distribution which allows for (again Ferrari inspired) an incredible handling car. Large Brembo brake discs,and 4 piston calipers bring things to a halt in a hurry if needed.

Our featured Spider Cambiocorsa is in excellent condition. The Alfie Gray exterior is without any dings or scratches,still showing a new car luster. The black leather (non smoker) interior is in excellent condition as well, with out any significant wear. The canvas convertable top is in good shape, with a perfectly clear back window. With only 19,000 miles (approx 2100 miles per year) and garaged all its life, this Maserati is really in as new condition.
